So, we don’t do a ton of Christmas decorating. We do have these three silly little tinsel guys, a T-Rex and Flamingo each wearing Santa hats, and a Narwhal wearing a scarf. They’re fun and they make my wife happy.

Well, they all fell down when crazy wind blew through on Wednesday. We didn’t get a chance to fix them before we left for Thanksgiving dinner at my sister’s yesterday.

Imagine our surprise when we got he late last night, and some kind person/people had put them back up for us. We have no idea who. Such a simple and unexpected thing though, it really warmed our hearts. My wife actually cried tears of joy.

Every one in a while people surprise me. Our neighbors never really talk to each other, unless somebody’s dog gets loose - then it’s all hands on deck.

There are some decent people out there.

I was at a fatal house fire this week and somebody brought the family flowers and hot drinks (it was night/very cold).

Total stranger.

Neat. I am helping a friend clean up a partially built barn that fell down in the wind . She has been having a run of bad luck lately.

You know, you could engineer a Christmas Miracle by have a buddy steal the stuff but have it reappear on the morning of Xmas Eve with with some bs note about how the “thief” found his Xmas spirit and decided to return what he stole.

It could be fun!
